Students from the UK Flour Millers’ distance learning programme (DLP) have been recognised for their accomplishments and awarded “highest achievement” certificates from president, Roger Butler.
The awards were presented at the president’s annual address at 21 Arlington Street to the students who achieved the highest exam score in each of the seven modules of the DLP. This is the first time that that event has been held for three years, so students were receiving prizes from 2019, 2020 and 2021.
The DLP is written by millers for millers and provides those working both within and those working alongside the industry with an essential understanding and underpinning knowledge of the flour milling industry. Each year around 400 students from around the world enrol and study about 500 modules.
